Root canal treatment
Teeth have an inner cavity filled with blood vessels, connective tissue, and nerves. This nerve can die for various reasons and should then be removed; otherwise, it could decompose or rot and cause further damage.
This inflammation is often accompanied by pain. Therefore, the remaining cavities should be sealed to prevent bacteria from forming and multiplying, which could lead to further inflammation and pain. Root canal treatments are always performed under anesthesia because they are very painful. Once the anesthetic has taken effect, we create access to the root canal system and clean and sterilize it. After cleaning, a root filling is placed in the tooth to protect it from further inflammation.
